To the nations

I read the sermon on the mount as a man burdened with Jesus’ call to take the Gospel to the nations, and I muse about Matthew 5.6…

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Yes, I want to hunger and thirst to be made righteous by the Blood.

But the MSV version reads a little differently; it says:

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst that others may find God’s righteousness, for they will go to the nations.

‘Nuff said.
