Three exchanges

There are three unfortunate exchanges in the first chapter of Romans:

  • People exchanged the glory God for images (1.23),

  • and they exchanged the truth about God for a lie (1.25).

  • Women (and less specifically, men as well) exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature (1.26).

No one seemed to get a particularly good deal from their exchange.
