Prove it!

Jesus zaps out a lunch for 20,000 in the wilderness. The next day or so, they catch up to Him in Capernaum and they want to know, “What must we do to do the works of God?” [6.28]

“Believe.”

“Prove it, show us a sign.” [6.30]

“Our fathers ate manna in the wilderness, what trick do you have up your sleeve?”

STOP. RIGHT. THERE

Yesterday, they filled their bellies with barley loaves and tilapia, and today they are asking for a sign in that they may believe that Jesus is the Son of God?

There are doubters, and then there are just plain dummies!
