I read it differently

Updated: Jun 23

Psalm 37.4 says something different to me than what it seems to say to others.

Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Some read, “Make God your focus and you will get what you want.”

I read it to say, “Make God your focus and your want-system will experience a dramatic makeover. You will begin to want only what He wants.”

‘Nuff said.
