Donkey talk

I do challenge folks to be the kind of donkey on which Jesus rode into Jerusalem: ready, available and willing.

However, I had not noticed David’s counsel in Psalm 32.9:

Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, or it will not stay near you.

With or without bit or bridle, bullying or burnout,

I cannot fathom ever choosing to stray.

An idiot, I am not.
