Paul shares with the Colossians how he prays for them.
It is not, “God, by the way, please bless the Colossians.”
It starts off, in Col 1.9, with
And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
Filled with the knowledge of His will, how interesting that Paul starts off with that.
Know His will, in all spiritual wisdom...
Not exactly sure what that entails but it sure sounds like something I want.
...and understanding.
I wonder if the previous adjective applies here as well, thus meaning:
“In all spiritual wisdom and spiritual understanding”
